“Hiding In Plain Sight” Key Art

Sketches & Drafts

Working closely with the creative director and review committee, there were many different versions made of this poster. Starting off with a rough pencil sketch, the first draft was a heavily distressed look with 7 characters facing the viewer. The image felt too static and heavy. From there, we moved to a style with no outlines to lighten the composition. We finally landed on a composition with every character slightly askew from the viewer, partially transparent, with a very light distressed effect.
